Being born into a family of jewellers, in the Spanish city of Valencia, Vicente Gracia soon discovered his passion for jewelry at a young age. The extensive knowledge of rare gems, ancient materials and techniques that he gained from working in his father’s atelier, encouraged him to create some of the world’s most exquisite pieces.

Inspired by the ancient world, Gracia’s designs reflect his devotion to recovering the original symbolic meaning of gemstones, working with the belief that jewels exist to bridge the gap to the divine. With a homeland characterized by a melting pot of cultures, Gracia’s design stimulus comes from a host of fantastical sources interpreted from sacred literature and symbolic art.

Named by Vogue as one of the 20 most prestigious jewelers in the world, Vicente Gracia has been selected by Christies since 2007 to take part in their biannual Contemporary Jewels and Watches event.

Vicente Gracia’s CoutureLab collection draws on ideas of paradise, medieval heraldry and the notion of eternity. These ornate pieces comprise spectacular diamonds accompanied by rare stones such as moonstone, colored sapphires, fire opal, pearls and Mashad turquoise. Each of Gracia’s inimitable creations are one of a kinds, a selection of which have been specially created for CoutureLab.
