Fast Facts
1997 Receives diploma from Paris’ prestigious Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture after two years instead of three. After apprenticeships at Ungaro and Nina Ricci, Mabille joins the team at Christian Dior.
2005 Launches a collection of unisex ready-to-wear clothing and TREIZEOR – a line of imaginative bow ties.
2007 Embarks on his longstanding collaboration with CoutureLab, firstly with an exclusive range of bow ties.
2008 Showcases his debut haute couture collection in Paris.
2009 Mabille’s Spring/Summer womenswear collection is available at CoutureLab.

A rich imagination coupled with technical affinity


As a young boy in Lyon, France, Mabille discovered fashion while investigating family attics and museums, creating accessories from re-cut and sewn lace and petticoats. Later, the teenage Alexis developed his passion, creating costumes for theater and parties.

Receiving a diploma from the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne in 1997, Mabille has worked in the ateliers of Ungaro, Ricci and the house of Dior with Galliano and Slimane.

Using his rich and playful imagination coupled with his technical affinity Mabille's own lines, Impasse 13 for clothing and Treizeor accessories, offer a window on Mabille's daring, joyful and dynamic universe. In this unisex realm of sophistication he expresses the creativity closest to his heart.
