| 1889 | Maison Trudon receives a gold medal at the World Exhibition in Paris for the quality and innovation of its products. |
| 1948 | With the success of the French Haute Couture, Cire Trudon creates a special vegetal wax to supply the great French and international houses including: Dior, Guerlain, Hermes, Cartier and Kenzo. |
| 1989 | The Blondeau family buys Cire Trudon and makes moves to preserve almost four centuries of tradition and quality. |
| 2006 | Cire Trudon furnishes the film set of film Marie-Antoinette. |
| 2007 | Parisian designer Ramdane Touhami is carried away by the magic of Turdon Candles and rediscovers its antique prestige by creating candles that are reminiscent of Cire Trudon's glorious past. |

Established in 1643 by Claude Trudon, Cire Trudon is the most famous wax producing factory in France. As the provider of Louis XIV’s French royal court, as well as the most glorious cathedrals and churches over France, Cire Trudon has established an unrivalled historical reputation as the one and only candle maker.
Today Cire Trudon creates wax candles for the great and the good of French luxury – Hermes, Cartier, Dior, Guerlain, Kenzo, etc as well as for palaces and gastronomic restaurants.

Cire Trudon candles are 100% paraffin-free and devoid of any secondary minerals derived from petrochemicals. Using a secret blend of palm oil, rice, soy and coprah and wicks of pure cotton, Cire Trudon candles do not contain any of the substances listed by OSPAR (referred to by Greenpeace): no heavy metal, allergen or pesticides.The candles are 100% bio-degradable and the smaller candles will burn for 25-30 hours and larger candles for up to 70 hours.
