Designer Profile
Marcelo Lucini
Having studied business and spent fifteen years in banking, Lucini decided to make a career change. He started traveling through Argentina and began to design a collection which utilizes the skills of the people and resources of the land to create products which resonate throughout the current spheres of fashion and interiors.
These products juxtapose sleek shine and glamour against organic natural bone and cattle pelts. Alpaca, the metal alloy used throughout this home collection, has a beautiful lustrous finish and is surprisingly more robust than silver. All organic materials such as bone and horn, have been naturally shed and gathered.
The collection created for CoutureLab is designed for modern living while being entirely handmade, possessing a rawness and a sense of cultural heritage.
