Designer Profile
Karry Berreby
While attending design school Cours Becort at age 18, Karry Berreby, was immediately attracted to the splendor of jewelry. Talented and interested in beautiful things, Berreby became a designer and collector of ornaments. Her first steps in the business entailed creating jewelry for different haute couture houses in the city of lights, this grounding led to a personal and perhaps even more ambitious dream, to create her own line.
It seems that not a week goes by without her jewels and name being featured in a major magazine. Over and above designing, Karry is also an ardent collector of unique pieces from the likes of Pierre Cardin, Yves Saint Laurent, Toppo, Dior, Chanel, and many more.
From the beginning, a fascination with the films of the 1940s, 50s, 60s and the 70s, the glamorous way in which the Hollywood sirens were dressed, their elegant allure and incomparable style, provoked a desire to create such pieces for her contemporary clientele.
The perfection of style and harmonization of colors inspired her to create jewelry which resembles and captures the essence of those eras.
