Taking inspiration from the ancient world, this handmade brooch is truly unique, featuring a Roman antiquity figure set in yellow gold and bronze. The gold squares are lacquered with a layer of crystal enamel, a material typically used in Medieval times. The brooch is adorned with an explosive array of precious gemstones: beautiful opals, neat yellow and orange sapphires encircle the figure, as well as an unusual heart cut black sapphire.
