“Cornucopia” 1970s Silk Dress

E2 for CoutureLab

Reworked vintage floral-print dress

“Just as new can become old, so vintage can become new,” is the mantra of Parisian label E2. Its specialism is unearthing rare and original couture pieces and subtly changing or totally transforming them into truly one-off designs. In gallery spaces, rather than on catwalks, is where these luxury creations are typically displayed.
In the label's reworked “Cornucopia” silk dress, you're a bountiful summer spirit. Empire line to lengthen your silhouette, this 1970s piece is a symphony of narrow pleats and luxuriant flowers. Neckline with hand-applied eyelets and tie-ribbon is a tantalizing detail; fabric strips drape from the shoulders to layer and entice. A complete one-off, this dress cannot be reordered.
