This long skirt in rich, warm tones, is handmade from silk. Layers of pleated tulle give the skirt the voluminous shape and the delicate matte silk layers provide beautiful movement. The golden colors have been created using vegetable dyes, hand-tied to create the soft floral print. This top layer of silk is decorated with the ancient form of hand-printing real gold leaf onto fabrics, which wears with time, creating an ornamental display of Mughal Indian antique floral patterns. The skirt fastens at the side with a hidden zip.
