Sourced by Talisman, this vase has been handcrafted using the Sommerso technique, developed in Murano during the late thirties. This process is a popular technique for vases and enables the creation of the multi layered jewel like effect.

Murano glass can be traced back to 9th century Rome. The Island of Murano became the centre of Venetian glass making in 1291 and to this day remains the epicentre of glass design, continuing to develop and refine long established techniques.
