Long multi-strand necklace with glass beads and multi-ribbon tie in off-white

Throughout her career Ann Demeulemeester has used clothes and accessories as a means of communicating her artistic vision and has collaborated with a host of artistic talent along the way. For her latest jewelry collection Demeulemeester has collaborated with Belgian artist Daniel Weinberger who developed the pieces as an interpretation of her menswear line. The collection is inspired by Hermann Hesse's final novel "The Glass Bead Game", which tells the story of a group of men who, every year, hold a competition to test their knowledge and the winner receives a collection of glass beads.

This unique handmade necklace is formed of long strands of vintage clear round glass beads. The eye-catching design is secured with multiple long white woven ribbons that can be tied in place to the front, back or side of the neck.
