Fabulous natural materials, plucked from tropical waters and landscapes, are the muse for Filipina jewelry designer Celestina Maristela-Ocampo. Using age-old techniques, she shapes and trims these to form some of the world's most coveted one-off bags and mini-audieres.
With the label's “Maricel Soriano” clutch in your hand, all eyes are on you. Named in honor of the legendary Filipino TV and film star, this piece is crafted from a single abalone shell. Its curvaceous red-grained outer is dappled with iridescent silver and polished to a glass-like finish. Hand-mounted copper frame and pink-amethyst clasp subtly embellish each totally unique piece.
